TORONTO - A judicial recount of votes has been ordered in the Toronto-area riding Brampton West, Elections Canada announced Wednesday.
The application for a judicial recount was made by Conservative candidate Kyle Seeback.
Liberal Andrew Kania won the riding by 223 votes.
The recount will be conducted by an Ontario Superior Court judge.
Chief Electoral Officer Marc Mayrand said the date and location will be announced as soon as information is available.
The Brampton West recount is the fifth ordered following last week's federal election.

Elections Canada says the recount will be held Thursday in Longueuil, Que., by a judge of the Quebec Superior Court.
A recount will also be held in the P.E.I riding Egmont, where Conservative Gail Shea won her seat by just 62 votes.
Another recount will be held in Ontario's Kitchener-Waterloo riding, where Conservative Peter Braid's margin of victory was 48 votes.
