NEW GLASGOW, N.S. - A 39-year-old Nova Scotia man charged with attempted murder has been given a month in jail for damaging police property.
Anthony Lewis DeWolfe of Mountville, was arrested at his mother's home July 30. DeWolfe pleaded guilty to mischief for damaging a thermostat and security camera at the RCMP lockup following his arrest.
A related charge of breaching his release conditions during the same incident was withdrawn by the Crown.
DeWolfe will stand trial in Truro, N.S., in April in the shooting of Paul Pace.
Pace was shot at his home in Green Oaks, N.S., last summer.
