Boys charged with arson in $1M fire at strip mall in Brampton, Ont.

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Three boys from Brampton, Ont., are facing charges for allegedly setting a fire at a strip mall that caused more than $1 million in damage.
Police say emergency crews were called to the mall on Thursday evening and found a fire quickly spreading through the basement units.
Everyone was able to get out safely.
Three boys, aged 13, 14 and 15, were charged with breaking and entering as well as arson.
Preliminary reports indicate damages will exceed $1 million.
The mall will be closed for several days.
