Man wanted in U.S. on drug offences arrested in Mississauga, Ont.

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - A man wanted in the U.S. on drug and money laundering charges was arrested today onboard a boat in Mississauga, Ont.
Quoc Diep is wanted in Pennsylvania for conspiracy to import marijuana and ecstasy, and for laundering money.
The 38-year-old was arrested in the Credit Valley Marina.
The arrest was made by the Immigration Task Force, with assistance from Peel Regional Police and Toronto police marine units.
RCMP Sgt. Tony Gollob says the arrest proves that international borders won't prevent police from holding people accountable for their actions.
