1000th kid honoured at Sun Youth

There’s a party atmosphere in the air as we celebrate our anonymous donor’s 82nd birthday. For 23 years, the bike man has celebrated by giving away bicycles to children through Sun Youth Organization. This year is very special to him because we will be handing out our 1000th bicycle, rewarding close to 70 exceptional youths.

What’s he doing this year? Obviously, he celebrated his birthday by rewarding the positive actions of Montreal’s youth. This year “winners” presentation was held on May 3, where close to 60 children who were selected received their bikes as well as helmets and bicycle locks. And in keeping with tradition we honoured an outstanding adult for his community involvement throughout his life.
