If you haven’t gotten around to sending out your Christmas cards and are looking for something unique, the West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped (WIAIH)’s annual Christmas card campaign is still ongoing.
As a non-profit organization that does not receive any financial support from the government, WIAIH relies on fundraising campaigns to keep providing services, activities and support for intellectually handicapped youth and adults and their families.
This year, 12 local artists provided artwork for the greeting cards, including WIAIH card campaign regular, Shelagh Culley, who has Down syndrome. The cards are available for 80 cents each with discounts offered for orders over 100, and can be personalized by adding your own message. To view the cards available this year and to print an order form, visit
