Volunteers urgently needed

Centre multi-ressources de Lachine is looking for a volunteer that can conduct a workshop on creating scrapbooks, preferably bilingual.

The West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped (WIAIH). Is in need of volunteers to help with their recreation programs which take place during the week-ends. They also need a volunteer to help maintain their resource room. Someone with previous library experience would be an asset

Literacy Unlimited, a community resource dedicated to the advancement of literacy, is looking for a volunteer treasurer to serve on its Board of Directors. Requirements include a financial background (experience with QuickBooks accounting software an asset), and availability of a few hours a week (mostly work from home). Training will be provided.

Volunteer West Island is looking for volunteers to help with their annual fundraising Golf Tournament which will take place this summer, please contact Yolanda for details. Fonds de Dépannage de l’ouest de l’ile needs the help of volunteers to do telephone enquiries. Located in Roxboro, they provide immediate assistance to West Island residents who require urgent help due to their social condition.
