Post office robbery
Post office robbery
Two men walked into a Canada Post office in Pointe Claire just past 10 a.m. last Wednesday and asked the teller if they could use the MoneyGram service. When the teller informed them it wasn’t working that day, one of the suspects pulled out a gun. They demanded cash and stamps, and also told the teller to hand over the key to the post office safe, and emptied that out as well. According to police Station 5 Const. Liliana Bellucci, the thieves made off with an undetermined – but high – amount of money and stamps. Police are looking for one man between 20 and 30 years old, with dark skin and dark hair, five-foot two-inches and 155 pounds. At the time of the robbery he was dressed all in black, wearing a dark hat and gloves. The second suspect is described as an English-speaking white male, six-foot five-inches and 165 pounds. He had dark eyes and was wearing a khaki-coloured winter coat and a two-colour scarf used to hide his face. The thieves were carrying a black sports bag with them as well.
