West Island Crusade Against Cancer (WICAC) is hosting their annual "Night of Comedy" Dinner and Gala on April 26, at Club West Island (205 Alton Drive, Beaconsfield), at 8 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. This night of fun raises funds for N.O.V.A., West Island Palliative Care and The Canadian Cancer Society. Lachine Hospital Foundation invites you to join for our 2008 Wine and Cheese Tasting, on May 2 at 7 p.m., at Buffet Sorrento (1275 Dollard, Lasalle). Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada invites you to participate in the 14th edition of the Super Cities WALK for MS. The event will take place in Dollard des Ormeaux on April 27. The provincial goal this year is to bring out 7,550 WALKers and to raise $1,380,000, which will be used to finance research and services for people who have multiple sclerosis (MS) and their families.
