Remember when $50 did not fill up only half your tank of gas? Do you get annoyed going out for a night on the town and then spend a good chunk of it looking for a decent parking spot? Hudson Village Theatre might just have what the doctor ordered for you.

The theatre's summer program is just around the corner and on June 21 avid theatre-goers can hop on a train from Lucien L'Allier station in downtown Montreal or Beaconsfield train station and ride it to Hudson, where they can spend the day perusing its beautiful quaint village shops before attending one of their first shows. And all this is just for $50.

"It's a hassle-free day," said the Hudson Village Theatre's marketing director Carolyn Flower.

Finger food will be on offer on the train, as well as live performances by Denny's Dixieland Band.

Theatre-goers who choose to hop on the ride will watch All Grown Up, the theatre's first summer production, a musical that follows the lives of three different women as they come of age in the 60s.
