Grand Theft Auto attempt in Pierrefonds

Police is on the look-out for a black man around 25 years of age who was last seen wearing a red cap, a burgundy shirt and a hospital bracelet after he tried to steal a car at a gas station on Pierrefonds Boulevard.

The incident occurred last Wednesday at about 7:30 p.m. The man approached a woman emerging from her car and snatched her keys. She took his bracelet and ran to the service counter.

The man followed her inside and a second scuffle occurred during which the woman took her keys back and the man snatched his bracelet. He ran away as the counter clerk called police.
