A Dollard resident under 18 years of age is behind bars for misdemeanour and negligent use of a firearm after a Roger Pilon Street resident spotted him shooting out street lamps with a gun last Wednesday at midnight, station 4 police reported.

According to community relations officer Leslie Potts, the resident looked out her window after hearing gunshots at around midnight, and spotted someone wearing a hoodie shooting some lights out.

She called police, who came and arrested the young man.
