Police arrested three teenagers at about 4:15 p.m. on June 2 after Ste. Anne de Bellevue public security caught them spray-painting graffiti on the Galipeault Bridge. The three male suspects – a 16-year-old from Baie d’Urfé, a 14-year-old from Beaconsfield, and a 13-year-old from Beaconsfield – will all face charges of vandalism.

A Baie d’Urfé resident phone police last Wednesday to inform them of a possible scammer going around in her neighbourhood. The lady said a man had come to her door offering to clean her gutters and perform other jobs around the house. However, he requested payment up from. After the woman gave him $150, he said he would go pick up some supplies, but he never returned.
Car thief nabbed
Police patrolling in Ste. Anne de Bellevue last Wednesday at about 9:15 a.m. noticed a suspicious 2003 grey GMC Yukon. When they ran the license plate umber, they realized the SUV as stolen and started following the vehicle. The officers called for back-up and surrounded the 20-year-old suspect in a grocery store parking lot at the off Highway 20 and Morgan Road in Baie d’Urfé. The vehicle had been stolen that same day in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area.
