Community kitchens

Bread Basket Lac-Saint-Louis<@$p> presents a series of community kitchens that are open to the community (Sept. 17 at Beaconsfield UC, 202 Woodside, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Sept. 19 at Ensemble, 2840 St. Charles Blvd., 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.,; Sept. 22 Volunteer West Island, 1 de l'glise St., Ste. Anne de Bellevue, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Sept. 26 at St. John Fisher Church, 120 Summerhill Ave., Pointe Claire, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.). There is a $2 participation fee.
