This is one Young Achiever with a desire to give back to the community. Raveen is a standout in the classroom, in the sporting arena and in the community. In the last four years, Raveen has twice been awarded a plaque for having the highest academic average in her grade at Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School, and was the recipient of the citizenship award as well. She also excels at badminton and is on the volleyball, basketball and cross-country teams. For the past three years, Raveen has been giving back to her community by volunteering her time at the Lakeshore General Hospital and the Denis-Benjamin Viger and Pierrefonds long-term residences, working with seniors who need full-time supervision and aid. She also gives of herself in helping organize the school's Terry Fox Run and helps students from five –count 'em, five – different schools and tutors even more students.
