Monday evening, the Mayor of Pointe Claire, Bill McMurchie, presented Mr. Tony Proudfoot with a Certificate of Commendation from the Governor General of Canada in recognition of his having given assistance to injured people in a shooting at Dawson College in Montreal on September 13, 2006.
