Vehicle break-in, Station 4
A St. Leonard resident found himself short of a laptop, an I-Pod and other items after he emerged from an evening at a restaurant in Galeries des Sources last Tuesday night, according to Station 4 media relations officer Leslie Potts.

The man's black Humvee's window had been broken into and the items taken.

Police is reminding residents not to leave valuable items in sight in their parked cars.
Hide your I-pods, Station 3
Police are reminding citizens to keep close watch on their I-Pods after yet another of the MP3 listening devices was stolen on a public bus by a young man last Monday.

The 17-year-old threatened his 14-year-old victim on a westbound bus on Gouin Boulevard, according to Station 3 media relations officer Dan Maheu, stating he would beat him up otherwise. The victim yelled, alerting the bus driver, who stopped his vehicle and managed to kick the assailant out. The latter escaped, but was caught by police two days later thanks to a good visual description by witnesses.
