125 Years of Tradition
The Dorval Museum of Local History and Heritage, in collaboration with the Forest and Steam Club and the Dorval Historical Society, celebrates the 125th anniversary of the Forest and Stream Club with an exhibition on the club’s history. Come meet the Scottish, French, Irish and English immigrants who were its founders and steep yourself in the in the 19th century ambience of a private social club where prominent citizens mingled and sometimes made decisions that influenced the political, financial and social future of Canada.

The exhibition opens Thursday, May 14 and ends Sunday, August 30, 2009. All are invited to the vernissage of the exhibition on Thursday, May 14th at 6:30 p.m.

The Dorval Museum of Local History and Heritage, located at 1850 Lakeshore Drive in Dorval, is open from Thursday to Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm. The entrance is free, and the Museum is accessible to all. Bus 209 brings you to the door. For more information, please call 514-633-4314 or 514-633-4170.
