Baie-D’Urfé announces creation of Citizens on Patrol

The Town of Baie-D’Urfé announces the creation of a new volunteer organization: Citizens on Patrol. This observer patrol, which will

make its debut May 1, will have the mandate of being the “eyes and ears” of the community. To this end, its objective will be to patrol the Town, observe and report any suspicious activity. Much like a Neighbourhood Watch program, these patrollers will provide a second level of surveillance of our property and community.

Peter Neville, current director of the Volunteer Rescue Squad, has agreed to set-up and to oversee Citizens on Patrol during the eight-month trial period.
