Kitchen knife thief and company sought, station 5
An abandoned kitchen knife and physical proximity in two different cases in the space of two weeks has Police Station 5, which covers Pointe Claire and Dorval, on alert for three suspects.

Last Friday evening, a 20-year-old man was accosted on a public bus by three strangers who kept "making fun of him" during the ride, according to community relations officer Hélène Jubinville. She said they pursued him on foot after he got off at the St. John's Boulevard/Douglas Shand intersection, where they asked for his money. After he refused, one brandished a kitchen knife to him as a second suspect urged him to comply. "Give him your money because he doesn't have any. We will follow you home and find where you live and screw you," the second suspect said.

The young man still refused, and walked away without being followed.

During an earlier incident on April 16 at 1:40 p.m., a taxi driver picked up three young men on Windsor Street in Pierrefonds and was refused payment for his fare once he took them to their destination on the corner of St. John's Boulevard and Douglas Shand.

According to police, one of the three punched the driver in the face before the three ran off.

The suspects abandoned a black cap and a kitchen knife in the back of the car.

In the first case, one of the suspects was described as a 5' 10 inches tall 19-year-old English-speaking Asian man, who had dark hair and brown eyes, and facial acne, weighing about 169 pounds.

A second suspect was described as a 22-year-old, English-speaking man, who looked Arabic, weighing 140 pounds, measuring 5' 1 inches, with brown eyes and hair.

As for the tax driver affair, three suspect descriptions were given out by police.

The first man was described as an approximately 22-year-old English-speaking Asian, measuring 5 '11 inches, and weighing around 183 pounds.

The second man was described as a roughly 22-year-old English-speaking Latino man, measuring 5 ' 6 inches, and weighing around 183 pounds.

The third suspect is a white, approximately 22-year-old English-speaking white man, measuring 5 '11 inches, and weighing around 194 pounds.
Bus shelter theft, station 3
Police are on the lookout for two young men after they held a victim at knifepoint at a bus shelter in Pierrefonds and robbed him of his I-Pod last Saturday afternoon.

The 14-year-old victim was accosted by the first suspect as soon as he entered the shelter on Cageux Street. Asked for his I-Pod the victim chose to run away instead. He was pursued by the suspect, who threw his hand into the victim's pocket to take the I-Pod.

A second suspect then arrived, brandishing a knife.

It was never used on him though. The victim was punched in the face instead before the suspects ran off with the MP3 player.

The first suspect is described by police as a 15-year-old, English-speaking black young man measuring about 5 '10 inches and weighing 105 pounds, with short black hair.

The second suspect is described as a 15-year-old young man measuring approximately 5 feet 5 inches and weighing 121 pounds.
