Pierrefonds police arrested a suspect in a hit and run incident last Saturday after midnight after he hit a Chin a hit and run incident last Saturday after midnight after he hit a 29-year-old Châteauguay man's car with his own vehicle, a 1981 Pontiac Parisienne, damaging its passenger side and its rear.

The suspect's car was waiting to turn south on Sources Boulevard behind his victim from Pierrefonds Boulevard. Growing impatient when the lights turned green, he attempted to pass the car in front of him, hitting it as he did so.

He was spotted by two police officers who called colleagues at nearby Station 4, which covers Dollard des Ormeaux.

The suspect was stopped by police near the 40 service road off of Sources. He had no identification on him, station 3 media relations officer Dan Maheu said.
Purse-snatching, Station 4
Police issued a warning call for women to watch out about where they leave their purses after the latest purse-snatching incident in Dollard des Ormeaux, at Starbuck's on St. John's Boulevard on May 25, after 8 p.m.

"Always leave it between your knees or on you at all times," said Station 4 media relations officer Chantale Castonguay.

A 26-year-old Dollard resident had left her own purse on her chair when it was taken. Security footage at Starbucks' reveals two suspects and an investigation is now underway.

The man who snatched the purse is a black-haired white male, weighing approximately 180 pounds and measuring 5 '10.

He was accompanied by another white male with very short black hair.
