Lester B. Pearson School Board’s Career and Education Fair
Offering students a very unique opportunity, the counsellors of the Lester B. Pearson School Board have organized a Career and Education Fair which will be held at Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Secondary V (grade 11 students), Grade 9 POP students, as well as students from the Adult Centres of the Lester B. Pearson School Board have been invited to this event. The focus of the day will be for the students to learn about various occupations; while exploring the educational pathways required to achieve these goals.
This significant opportunity will allow students to meet with representatives from many participating Cegeps, Universities, Vocational, Technical and Adult Centers, as well as members from our business community to better understand career opportunities as they pursue their educational pathways. In today's changing job market, many adults in the community who are in the process of making a career change will be offered valuable information from participants with regard to full and part-time studies which can prepare them for a career change.

The Career and Education Fair will take place from 9:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m at Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School, 13800, Pierrefonds Boulevard, Pierrefonds. Telephone: (514) 626-9610.

The Lester B. Pearson School Board is an English school board serving more than 32,000 students and staff in 60 schools, adult and vocational centers, an International Language Center, and an Administrative Center on a territory from Verdun westward to the Ontario border. The Lester B.
