Cordes en délire… an absolute pleasure in every measure!
On December 6th at 3:00 pm, the highly entertaining duo of cellist Sébastien Lépine and violinist Antoine Bareil will be performing at Salle Pauline-Julien as part of the Dimanches classiques series. Masters with a bow, the virtuosic duo will take your breath away with Cordes en délire, which offers a fresh new take on classical music that appeals to all types of audiences.

This concert features two sophisticated performers who seduce audiences with their pieces marked by a rather unusual musical language. With passion, fervour and a hint of humour, Bareil and Lépine execute a most singular repertoire including composers such as Mence, Ravel, Honegger... These two simple and endearing performers sweep away crowds with their passion for the music and their frenzied excitement!

Having been awarded the Lauréat des Grands Prix culturels de Trois-Rivières in 2007, Cordes en délire has been presented more than fifty times throughout the country, in addition to a few noted appearances in Italy. Unfailingly, audiences are seduced and moved by the duo’s performance. A tremendously enjoyable experience not to be missed!

Tickets can be purchased at the Salle Pauline-Julien ticket office (15615 Gouin Boulevard West, Sainte-Geneviève – West Island of Montreal) starting at $15.00, or via the Admission network at 514 790-1245. Furthermore, upon presentation of the Carte Accro à la culture, available for individuals 25 years of age or under, the cost of the ticket is $10.00.
