New President takes the helm by acclamation
Under the guidance of Dave Rodgers for the last 8 years, the Lakeshore Soccer Club now has a new President in the person of Nick Pantemis, a well seasoned coach and volunteer at the regional level. Pantemis, who also serves as Executive Vice-President at the Lac St-Louis Regional Soccer Association, has been a coach with the Lakeshore Soccer Club for the last 2 years.

The Executive Committee of the LSC also welcomed two new members in Martin Poirier, as the new VP Technical Services, and Paul Vaillancourt, as VP Communications. Poirier also serves at the regional level as Vice-President Technical Developement.

“We accomplished tremendous strides as a Club under the guidance of Dave Rodgers during the seven and a half years of his tenure and we are grateful for everything he did. The Club is now embarking in a new era and we realize that very specific challenges are facing us”, declared Pantemis following his election on November 19th.

The Lakeshore Soccer Club, with its more than 4,500 members and its full time staff of six, is the second largest Club in Quebec and one of the biggest in Canada. Established in 1966, the Club caterers to youth and senior players at both the recreational and competitive level in the Baie d’Urfé, Beaconsfield, Kirkland, Senneville and Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue area.

The Club’s objective is to encourage and promote the game of soccer within its jurisdiction and its primary focus is to provide a total, well-rounded and positive soccer experience for players, coaches, referees, and parents.
