Happy 100th
Florence Evelyn Butler Morris (centre) celebrated her 100th birthday at the Wellesley Residence in Pointe Claire last Friday afternoon. Seated with her are daughters Joyce Millar (left), who is the director of the Stewart Hall Art Gallery, and Carolyn Cutt (right). Morris taught Grade 6 at Summerlea School in Lachine for 21 years, until her retirement in 1972. Former students and friends of Morris are invited to celebrate with her this Saturday, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., at Summerlea United Church, 225 50th Avenue in Lachine.
