The West Island Women’s Centre, an agency supported by Centraide, is offering“Making New Connections,” a 5-week program for immigrant women living in the West Island. This free program is offered on Tuesday afternoons from 1 to 2 p.m. starting November 5.
Designed specifically for women who have recently arrived in Canada, the program covers a number of topics including employment, health care, and activities and services available on the West Island. Participants will receive practical information and share their experiences.
This activity is offered in collaboration with Place Cartier Adult Education Centre and takes place at Riverdale High School (5060 Sources Blvd, Pierrefonds).
