The West Island Women’s Centre, an agency supported by Centraide, is offering a support group to help women strengthen their emotional intelligence through the art of improv. Learn to successfully identify, manage, and express emotion through the creative and collaborative process of improvisation. This 7-week support group is facilitated by Amanda Silveira, an actor with an educational background in professional theatre and human relations. Meetings will take place on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. starting on April 17, 2014.
